Lisa and Al | small living room, big big love

Al was a primary school friend and a fellow photographer too.

Just before his wedding, he gave me a call to do a casual pre-wedding shoot for him.

Tried a little different style of shooting and processing from our usual high key and soft light approach.

All shot within the living room, but you can feel the love between Lisa and Al.

Life is beautiful!

Tim and Veron | mr and mrs ching!

Tim and Veron are close friends and it was an honour to shoot their wedding.

It was bustling with energy starting from Veron’s house as the maid of honour dresses up as teachers complete with feather dusters and the groomsmen in white student uniform.

Blessed with good weather, it was a fun morning followed by the “Wedding of the Year” banquet.

Ok, ok, let the pictures do the talking.

We covered an imperial wedding last X’mas day.

And an imperial wedding it was, graced by the Sith Lord and his stormtroopers. :)

Hello world!

We decided to start writing a blog. So as to let you understand our shooting style and a little more about us. :)

So a little introduction here of us:

TwentyOne-Fifty Photography is made up of G and YC.

G has a keen eye in observation and captures life in photo-journalistic perspective. His favourite genre belongs to the street where he like to bring out the little details and nuances of everyday life. In the wedding, he prefers to shoots quietly from afar (although he can be relatively noisy at times) moments of candid, happiness and joy.

Get to know him better on his personal blog.

YC is the noisy one… and might not survive if left alone on an island. He loves interacting (and can be too talkative at times). In the wedding, he gets in close, interacts and shoots. His favourite genre lies in portraiture where he seeks to bring out the best in the one to one session.

See his personal works here.
